Jessica & Jimmy 07.25.09
Tampa Wedding Photographer

Jessica and Jimmy were married last Saturday in a traditional Greek ceremony at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Tarpon Springs. Jessica was a stunning bride, and she and Jimmy are so cute together – they were a blast to photograph! Their reception was held at the Rusty Pelican in Tampa, and we were able to get away for a few minutes to get some great photos right before sunset. The reception itself was such a great party – and very entertaining – with dancing ranging from traditional Greek dances to choreographed Michael Jackson skits (apparently Jimmy is a huge MJ fan!).

Congratulations Jessica and Jimmy!

OpLove Session
Clearwater Beach Photographer

I recently photographed this beautiful military family as part of Operation Love ReUnited. OpLove is a volunteer organization where professional photographers provide photo sessions to deploying soldiers and their families. This particular soldier will be heading overseas soon, and I’m thrilled to have had the opportunity to capture these moments for him and his gorgeous family.

We actually had to reschedule our first session due to the rain, and the second day the weather wasn’t much better. Luckily, we were able to get some great images in between the rain storms. As we were finishing up, the skies opened up and POURED. Little three year old “K” loved the rain… everyone else was running for cover, and she just wanted to play.

For anyone who is interested in learning more about Operation Love ReUnited, you can view their website by clicking HERE.

Thanks to you and all of our military for all that you do!

The Bridal Show and My Snake Incident
Tampa Woman’s Club, Sunday June 28th

Yesterday was the Getting Married 101 Bridal Show sponsored by Elan Event Studio. I was honored to be invited to participate in the event, as it showcased some of the areas top wedding vendors. Despite the rainy day, there was a good turnout of wonderful brides-to-be. I had the opportunity to speak with many of them, and enjoyed all of our conversations.

One thing I DID not enjoy, but must tell you about because its too funny not to, is my snake incident. My booth happened to be located right next to one of the doors of the woman’s club, and as someone opened the door to leave (that someone was actually my husband – THANKS HON!) a very large (like 4 feet large) black racer snake slithered his way in. Since I happened to be crouched down getting something out of my bag at that exact moment, the snake felt the need to get a bit, um, “friendly” under my dress. I kid you not, this really happened. I have witnesses to prove it. I knew there was a reason I don’t often wear dresses.

Aside from the snake incident, the day went very smoothly. Here are some photos of my booth. I must thank my awesome hubby for helping with all of the manual labor involved in getting this ready… I’m thrilled with how it all came together.
