The weekend could not have been more perfect. My brother in law Jon and his wonderful fiance’ Colleen were married at the Atkinson Resort & Country Club in Atkinson, New Hampshire. Together with 170+ family and friends, Jon and Col tied the knot in a gorgeous late morning ceremony. Everything was amazing – the weather was a mild 70 something (especially nice for this Florida girl!)… the flowers were beautiful… the scenery was fantastic… and of course the bride was a knockout! Jon and Colleen are so lucky to have found each other – they are just so perfectly suited for one another. Together with Colleen’s son Anthony, they make a beautiful family.

Other bonuses… I have a great new sister-in-law, AND I’m officially an auntie now!

Jon and Col, thanks for choosing me to capture your memories! And I’ll still kick your butts at guitar hero.

Meet Hurricane Bill. My parents and I drove out to Plum Island yesterday to see the effects of the hurricane. The first two beaches we hit were closed down, but the third was open. We arrived about an hour before high tide, and the waves were already amazing. By the time high tide arrived, they were insane. These photos really do no justice to show how impressive the storm truly was.

OK, so he’s almost two and a half… I’m a little late on this one. He’s grown into such a little man, its hard to believe that all of these changes can take place in only two years. Suddenly Ryan is Mr. Imagination. We can’t go into the family room because there are dragons in there. Can’t go in the living room because there’s a crocodile under the chair. Can’t go in the office because dinosaurs live in it. I’m running out of rooms! But I love to see his personality develop - and I may be a bit biased, but for a two year old, I think he’s pretty darn funny! Of course, if you tell him he’s funny, he’ll tell you “No, I’m precocious!” (thanks Granna for teaching him that one!). About a month or so ago, Ryan and I spent a day running around town, taking photos in completely random places. He was (for the first time ever!) an awesome super model. In fact, when we were done he got upset and was crying for “more two year old pictures!”. Um, no more, I’d had enough by then :-)

As I’m editing these photos, I’m totally cracking up. “A” and “E” are four years old and full of personality. There are several series of dancing photos that really have me laughing. But here are just a few highlights from our session.

Mom and Dad, your gallery will be ready soon. Enjoy!

I recently had the pleasure of meeting ten-year-old “C”… an adorable and talented girl who will be using the photos to apply for some musical jobs. She was such a cutie - we spent several hours shooting, with a break in between when it started raining, and she never got tired.

C and M, here is your sneak peek!

Meet Katie and Pete, the amazingly fun-loving couple who won my engagement session door prize at the Getting Married 101 bridal show last month. I had a great time with these two… they are so incredibly comfortable together that it made my job VERY easy. (Of course, the fact that they are beautiful didn’t hurt either!) We met up in downtown Clearwater for some photos, then had a little break at Starbucks (it was HOT out!) and finally headed over to Sand Key Park for sunset. I love the variety that we got, and the fact that Katie and Pete were up for anything.

K & P, I hope you love the photos! Congratulations!

Jessica and Jimmy were married last Saturday in a traditional Greek ceremony at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Tarpon Springs. Jessica was a stunning bride, and she and Jimmy are so cute together - they were a blast to photograph! Their reception was held at the Rusty Pelican in Tampa, and we were able to get away for a few minutes to get some great photos right before sunset. The reception itself was such a great party - and very entertaining - with dancing ranging from traditional Greek dances to choreographed Michael Jackson skits (apparently Jimmy is a huge MJ fan!).

Congratulations Jessica and Jimmy!
