Bridal Show Shout Out!

Yesterday Karen Harrison Photography exhibited at the Summer Sunsational Bridal Show held at the Hilton Carillon Park in St. Pete. The day was a great success – many brides-to-be attended to visit the various vendors, and to watch the incredibly cool fashion show. I just want to say thanks to everyone who stopped by the Karen Harrison Photography booth… I had a great time talking to all of you! “Rock the Dress!” Urban Style

C and I decided to do a little “Rock the Dress!” session in downtown Clearwater. I LOVED some of the cool locations and lighting that we found. She looked so adorable in her dress with her super fab sneakers on, and she got so many compliments as we played around. Here a a few from the session. Jennifer and Jason were married in a gorgeous church in Naples… the N. Naples United Methodist Church. I LOVED the lighting in here, it was so dramatic, like a spotlight was shining down on the two of them. Their reception was held at the Olde Cypress Country Club, which was elegant, classic and sophisticated.

OpLove Session
Clearwater Beach Photographer

I recently photographed this beautiful military family as part of Operation Love ReUnited. OpLove is a volunteer organization where professional photographers provide photo sessions to deploying soldiers and their families. This particular soldier will be heading overseas soon, and I’m thrilled to have had the opportunity to capture these moments for him and his gorgeous family.

We actually had to reschedule our first session due to the rain, and the second day the weather wasn’t much better. Luckily, we were able to get some great images in between the rain storms. As we were finishing up, the skies opened up and POURED. Little three year old “K” loved the rain… everyone else was running for cover, and she just wanted to play.
